Q: What is the difference between “〜について” and “〜に関して”?
A: These two expressions are used when referring to the subject of actions such as talking, listening, thinking, writing, or researching.
While they can generally be used interchangeably, there are subtle nuances in their meanings.

[Rule]
[N] Noun+について
*When followed by a noun, it becomes “についてのN”.
[Point]
“につきまして” is also used as a more polite form of “について”.

Additionally, “AについてB” is used when there is a binary choice regarding a certain matter.

It is very formal and is used in business contexts.
The kanji “関” in this word is the same as in “関連する” (to be related) and “関係する” (to be connected), so compared to “について”, it is used not to limit the matter, but to address things related to the central matter.

Japanese people have a high interest in health.
